Our journey commenced with a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, followed by a scenic drive to Besisahar, the starting point of our trek. The initial day was dedicated to acclimatization, allowing us to adjust to the altitude and immerse ourselves in the rugged terrain. We spent the night at a local lodge in Besisahar, soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 2-4: Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp
The subsequent days were filled with arduous trekking through the captivating Annapurna region. What is the Easiest Climb in Nepal?
Nepal, with its stunning landscapes and majestic mountains, offers numerous trekking and climbing opportunities. If you’re new to climbing or looking for an easier option, one of the best choices for climbing in Nepal is the Pisang Peak Climb. This peak is considered one of the most accessible climbs in Nepal and is perfect for beginners.
Why Pisang Peak?
Pisang Peak, which peaks at 6,091 meters, is located in the Annapurna area. Despite its height, it is considered one of the less difficult climbs due to its simple approach and generally mild slopes. Pisang Peak was my first high-altitude expedition, and it was a remarkable one.
The Climbing Experience
The route starts with a walk over the stunning Annapurna Circuit.
